My son put a budgeting app on my phone today…what a wake up call!!!! I'm slowly getting the hang of it. What a nifty idea!!!! How did I ever survive without it??? (ha ha). I can be soooooo spendthrift and this app kinda puts the brakes on my random sprees. I have never really used any kind of budget before …always playing it by ear and finding myself out on my ear as regards my bank balance. On my way to some pop up painting gig…let's see if the brakes really are on my spendthrift ways.

'why not?' underlines my creative process. Forget the box! Its obsolete...it's all about whatever shape you want to throw on that dance floor! The process drives my practice!! For me, work well done is work I have thoroughly enjoyed making...work that has made me think, sweat, cry, scream and come back for more!!! Work that gets my back up; pushes me...gives me cause for doubt. Makes me push in order for 'why not?' to become possible. Boundaries? What boundaries?
