Pop up painting!

So….pop up painting…I was pleasantly surprised-ish…didn't know I'd enjoy it sooooo much. Now realise that I enjoy painting in company…thought I was a solitary painter…Let me rephrase that – I thoroughly enjoy painting in company without an audience. It was very group therapy-ish (not really…can't place my finger on what it was…it just felt right). It wasn't like a drop in drawing session…there was so much more ambience…it was laid back, not taking yourself too seriously- pure art without performance or perfection-

The aim was to paint after the style of Banksy.

Went with my sis-in-law.

Defo something I might do again!

Most of all…I kept within my budget…managed to not spend a dime!!! My sis-in-law is in Finance and very money savvy. We had tap water with lemon and shared a meal (for one). Not complaining at all – my bank balance is unscathed and I've got a new painting which I might just sell!

Work that gets my back up; pushes me...gives me cause for doubt. Makes me push in order for 'why not?' to become possible. Boundaries? What boundaries?
