Training myself…

These days I find myself getting up earlier and earlier…if anyone had told me a year ago that I’ll be a very early riser, I would have laughed in derision. But here’s me actually wondering how and why I jump out of my very cosy bed at 5.30 am and at the same time asking myself ‘why ever not?’  I never thought I could be a morning person…(I was so wrong). It definitely is all about pushing yourself and I have taken a whip to myself!  I am a soldier taking no prisoners (of excuses to lay in bed).  Learning to not take ‘lackadaisical’ as an excuse. Timing myself constantly in order to beat my own records.

    Like you I have also been getting up earlier as part of my routine and have enjoyed the feeling of a purposeful and productive morning.

    I’m not quite where you’re at yet as I do find it difficult to jump out of bed if it’s dark and cold, but I’m hoping the summer time will be a great time to build on and establish this habit!
