Facing fears (boldly)

Facing your fear and doing it anyway makes you feel pretty invincible and manifests in ways you wouldn’t believe. I have finally been able to get the hang of YouTube! as well as voice overs…I live in a pretty noisy house where the men speak in baritone…no, baritone’s good…when hubby is on the phone it can be hard to hear yourself think! Talking in loud-speaker mode as though everyone in the house needs to be privy to the telephone conversation. But despite this, I was able to do a voice over for one of my  videos…yay me! I’m learning to block out interference and not get upset about every little thing. I can be present and selectively zone out at the same time.

And believe you me this comes from walking down towpaths! I don’t know about cycling down towpaths…not ready yet…but I’m definitely on the right path!

  1. Good for you! Loved the video and what a pleasant and lovely voice you have. Oh and I could hear hubby in the background, but oddly enough it sort or provided a nice backdrop for your gentle voice. Well, I think you’re on the right path. I’m very glad to have you as a Blogging buddy! 🙂 I also congratulate you on your journey to achieving a measure of self-confidence. Keep moving forward.

Thank you so much for sharing.
