Yay me!! (blogger recognition award nomination)

I’m chuffed!  I have been nominated for the Blogger Recognition Award!  Thank you Sanjay! He’s a brill blogger…really interesting posts.  His blog is called INTROVERSION and its pretty nifty…a great read!

Okay…it’s my first time being n0minated…(I’m more of a rule-breaker but I will do my best to follow these rules)  

Firstly, I have to say a few words about my blog!!!

Okay…it’s basically (verbal diarrhea)…I loooove to chat….(about anything and everything)  when I start….its hard to shut up…cos I need to get the words out my head…

I first set up a blog as a kind of reflective diary…just wanted to get the thoughts out my head…cos always have these running conversations (with myself) and didn’t want to keep muttering under my breath…So when pissed off or happy…I could write about it and let it out my system…Back in 2009, I didn’t really know how blogs worked….didn’t think anyone would follow it…so I would write a bit…stop…Then in May this year, I decided to stop scribbling on paper all over the house…and stop muttering under my breath and just actually really use my blog to clear my thoughts. Even then, I still held back a bit…but when bloggers like Tony Burgess followed me and Unbolt, The Renegade Press liked my post – I’ve been bitten-  on designwithflairartist …I was like…okay…saying it as it is…is really appreciated!  And then my posts were liked by so many bloggers like Cameron D Hamilton, Tony Single, The Renegade Press Drem, Giggles and Tales, Frank Solanki, Simpledimple, Tony Vega dot net, thejouskablog, Eyes + Words, O at the edges, Paul F. Lenzi, beautybeyondbones, Real Tasty Pages, Sanjay M Bhaskar, Jay Colby, nancyongom, Vincent Egoro, Robert Okaji, Introversion, wingingitbygrace, keithgarrethpoetry, johncoyote, words on empty ears, businessinrhyme, the river walk, see, there’s this thing called biology….and so many awesome bloggers…I read your posts and I’m like…oh gosh I love this!!!  The blogging community is AWESOME!!!  I am so taken aback, inspired, in awe, appreciative, learning so much, fed (definitely fed).  And when I’m feeling low…oooohhh…there is nothing like this community. And the thing is….everytime a blogger follows my blog….I visit their blogs and I am always taken aback…cos I’m like see this brilliant blogger following me…!!!!  Bloggers have made me love my voice and I am so grateful…(did say I chat too much)  ….forgotten the rules already….oh gosh….and the poets!!! all the poets are awesome!!!! (I say…awesome a lot, don’t I?)…isaacunleashed, In My Thoughts, the darkest fairytale….there are so many brilliant poets….(trying not to gush here…)  poetry is very personal to me….I don’t know how to thank you for your support…

I love reading blogs….

My advice to new bloggers is ….be fearless…say it as it is…the blogging community is very supportive and have got your back….post images (if you can….I’m still getting the hang of that…)  check out Markovich Photo Art for amazing pics…
