Impatience is just about the worst thing that can happen in art. I just messed up 90 minutes worth of work by being impatient!!!! Now it’s going to cost me £50+ to fix it. Aaaaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!!! What a naff school boy error. F**king blasting a silk screen after exposing it……just bl**nking washed out most of my stencil. And it’s a freaking commission. I am so pissed at myself.
I was in such a silly rush!!!!! Now I have to pay someone to prep my f***ing screen!!!! Cos I’m on such a tight rope on the bl***ing clock!
Spontaneity is the watchword that informs my art practice. My artwork celebrates the energy of abstract expressionism.
'why not?' underlines my creative process. Forget the box! Its obsolete...it's all about whatever shape you want to throw on that dance floor! The process drives my practice!! For me, work well done is work I have thoroughly enjoyed making...work that has made me think, sweat, cry, scream and come back for more!!! Work that gets my back up; pushes me...gives me cause for doubt. Makes me push in order for 'why not?' to become possible. Boundaries? What boundaries?

Gosh, that sounds so stressful 😦 I’m sorry. I hope everything will work out. ❤
I’m really crossing fingers and toes here. Hoping everything works out. Thanks 🙏🏽
Haha.
So, has it worked out?
Yeah…I’m doing some image transfers rather than screen printing. So I’ll call off the £50+ outsourcing. So hopefully I’m on track re: this commission.
Good news.
