I have no idea what to think of my vlogging attempts today apart from (nothing ventured; nothing gained). So what have I gained? A YouTube channel (yippee ya yay!). I was never really into YouTube and couldn’t see what I could possibly do with a YouTube account. I didn’t get it at all. Well, I still don’t quite get it but it’s fun. So YouTube channel = fun factor. Aside from snapchat – an app I only learnt to use last month- I had never shared a tomfoolery video of myself. Fun factor number two. Now blogging I get and love…vlogging I’m still getting my head around. Snapchat I love but can’t be bothered with saving the ‘ten second videos’ – too much work. Besides I prefer snapchat vids 24 hour lifespan. Why should I save the vids anyway? -kinda defeats the purpose. Now YouTube…going to take me some time to get used to the whole vlogging scene cos I love to read. (such a flimsy excuse!). I like the whole recording myself…in miniscule doses. I will have another go at vlogging. Just not yet…

Spontaneity is the watchword that informs my art practice. My artwork celebrates the energy of abstract expressionism. 'why not?' underlines my creative process. Forget the box! Its obsolete...it's all about whatever shape you want to throw on that dance floor! The process drives my practice!! For me, work well done is work I have thoroughly enjoyed making...work that has made me think, sweat, cry, scream and come back for more!!! Work that gets my back up; pushes me...gives me cause for doubt. Makes me push in order for 'why not?' to become possible. Boundaries? What boundaries? View all posts by designwithflair
