2024 has been an interesting year! Hard to believe it’s the last day of the year. What a leap year this has been!
Started an MA in Fine Art….less time to create….weird…too busy writing essays! I hate essays! But I do love the MA…it’s like having a mentor….for 2 years!!!! Quite an expensive mentor…university fees are not a laughing matter. But having a network of creatives to bounce ideas off ispriceless …..to think I almost quit when the going got tough….my MA is online….an MA Fine Art online is no mean feat….you think the studio is solitary? Wait till you have all these essays to write….an online library of PDFs…my worst nightmare….then I discovered that I could actually borrow books from a physical library….that was a game changer!!! So happy to carry on with my MA Fine Art…..just need to access all resources available and not moan about the digital screen so much.
Not going to list all the changes I hope to make next year….oh yes I am….well some changes….need to be more active….save money on travel….seriously travel costs an arm and a leg!….attempt to eat less junk… my sweet tooth is something to behold!….read more books….oh my days….so enlightening…..make an effort to be less pessimistic…..scratch that…be optimistic period. Attempt to keep up with stuff….blogging….podcasting….cut myself some slack….broadcast monthly rather than an inconsistent weekly. This podcasting…blogging malarkey is not a walk in the park!!!! And just embrace each day as it comes.
Looking forward to what 2025 brings….such an interesting number divisible by 5 becomes a 4…5 year! Steps on the rungs of a ladder! Here’s hoping 2025 is all about progression!!!! Learning….living….loving….just being fallible and embracing growth. Happy New Year!!!! Cheers to progress!
