What award?

I like Blog Awards but not the ethos behind them. I’ve got words in my head that need to come out…and not trivialised. That’s what these Awards (with participation rules) tend to do…trivialise content as though it’s a game. It is not a game… it’s an outpour of emotion. I was recently nominated and I appreciate that but not all bloggers know the real reason for these games. Creating a game to increase followers, improve readership or stats is just wrong on so many levels. All the bloggers I nominated when I got suckered into this game I really appreciate as well as the blogger who nominated me. But come on…chat because you’ve got something to say…say it as it is…forget stats and don’t play games. Don’t really care who started these blog nomination games…I’m not really here to play. (sorry and not sorry if I have caused offence…but just had to say this…in the nicest possible way…to get it off my chest).
