I have just learnt the hard way that cheap is not always cheerful. Especially when it comes to health!!! Three days ago I bought myself a shop brand toothpaste instead of my usual more expensive Colgate (sorry about the name dropping) all cos I was trying to cut costs. This evening my gums were inflamed and very uncomfortable. Gum disease obviously. Rushed off to the shops got my usual Colgate, had a good brush and voila no more discomfort. Swellings going down. Geez!!! Talk about learning the hard way!!! Could have spared myself all that aggro if I had just paid a bit more (a lot more) for proper toothpaste and not a shop brand!!! Now I know!!!!!
