Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life.
Finish what you start….dedication and hard work pays off….
I was such a truant …. skipped lessons….easily bored….always seeking stimulation…..never all in.
As I’ve grown older I see the beauty in focus, dedication and completion.
Seeing something through to completion gives a sense of satisfaction….yes it can be modified later but at least make it a working model first.
A work in progress is way better than a work discarded.
I didn’t even know what the word ‘truant’ that kept showing up on my report cards meant. I remember thinking that a finger in all pies sounds really good and a jack of all trades would be so knowledgeable.
Just being focused is such a superpower. Not an easy lesson to learn when adults around you are banging on about focus and hard work.
My time management was whack….I couldn’t care less what time anything needed to start or end….I never understood why anyone wanted to be on time for anything. I believed in better late than never….
I did so many things half-assed …..it has been a great learning curve….learning the value of focus. Doing stuff half-assed is such a waste of time.
I have learnt that time is valuable.
