What do you love about where you live?

I love the ‘keeping me on my toes’ living in London brings…..we ‘small talk’ about the weather so much…it’s hilarious. It’s a running joke amongst Londoners cos the weather holds a spanner ever ready to throw into whatever you’ve got planned….and we roll with it. We definitely take the lemons the weather throws at us and make sizzling lemonade. No sitting indoors moping for us if we’ve got plans….rain…we got wellies and brollies at the ready.

I love that when the itty-est bit of sun comes out …we’re all buzzing.

I just love the unpredictability of the London weather cos you simply have to adapt and learn to think outside the box.

Spontaneity is the watchword that informs my art practice. My artwork celebrates the energy of abstract expressionism. 'why not?' underlines my creative process. Forget the box! Its obsolete...it's all about whatever shape you want to throw on that dance floor! The process drives my practice!! For me, work well done is work I have thoroughly enjoyed making...work that has made me think, sweat, cry, scream and come back for more!!! Work that gets my back up; pushes me...gives me cause for doubt. Makes me push in order for 'why not?' to become possible. Boundaries? What boundaries?
