Sometime a hiatus is just the prescription to get back on your feet…buzzing again. My poor blog!! I’ve had a brilliantly long break from enjoyable and therapeutic rants! Now I’m back…till I need a break again. Hopefully not sometime too soon. Batteries fully charged and ready to go. Full of inuendos today (innit?). Just buzzing from my hiatus. Feel like a butterfly fresh from a chrysalis! Not that I know what that really feels like or want to know really but then again this is the beauty of the rant that I have missed so much (in hindsight! )

Spontaneity is the watchword that informs my art practice. My artwork celebrates the energy of abstract expressionism. 'why not?' underlines my creative process. Forget the box! Its obsolete...it's all about whatever shape you want to throw on that dance floor! The process drives my practice!! For me, work well done is work I have thoroughly enjoyed making...work that has made me think, sweat, cry, scream and come back for more!!!
